Sarah Borthwick
Occupational Therapist
Sarah Borthwick

Sarah (she/her) is a ConTiGO certified therapist and has been an occupational therapist for 14 years working with children, youth and adults in a variety of different practice areas. She currently works in pediatrics at B.C. Children's Hospital and enjoys helping children and their families work towards their goals. Sarah is a mother of two children and is happiest when exploring the local forests and mountains with them. She strongly believes that nature is incredibly regulating and is a powerful tool for helping children discover their strengths and explore the world around them. She is also a volunteer Girl Guides leader.

Rosie Higgins

Rosie (she/her) has been practicing as an occupational therapist for 11 years in a variety of settings. She is a mother of two including one neurodivergent child and brings lived experience to her occupational therapy work with children. She has witnessed the power of the outdoors in providing a rich and vibrant environment for her children to grow and thrive. She is passionate about bringing this program to children and families on the North Shore because she knows that kids can thrive when given the right skills and tools.

Jillian Goodbrand

Jillian (she/her) has been an occupational therapist for 13 years with a focus on mental health. She sees how spending time in nature can support wellness, contribute to a sense of connection to our environment and as a life long tool to ground ourselves.  She loves spending time outside with her two young kids swimming, biking and playing in the forest. She is a volunteer Girl Guide Leader and a certified yoga instructor.

Occupational Therapy Rehabilitation Assistant
Corinna West

Corinna is a rehabilitation assistant with experience working with neurodiverse children. She completed the Rehabilitation Assistant Diploma program at Capilano University and has a background working in rehabilitation, nutrition, and adventure tourism. Corinna has worked one-on-one with neurodivergent students and preschool classes with Fresh Air Learning.

A strong believer in play-based learning, Corinna understands how to adapt her approach to unlock the curiosity and confidence of each child. She is an energetic mother of three who can be found on the sports fields of Lynn Valley or hiking the vast trails of the North Shore with her St Bernese puppy, Winnie.

Kim Butler

Kim (she/her) is a school-based occupational therapist working in North Vancouver with 13 years of Occupational Therapy experience. Kim loves to explore the trails and mountains in North Vancouver either walking, hiking, running, skiing or just picking flowers (when with my 4 year old!). Kim loves to be outside in nature with family and friends as much as possible.
